While driving from OUG to Sri Petaling I stumbled across the famous Ipoh Chicken Rice where its main branch is located at Jalan Gasing, Petaling Jaya. Apparently, the Sri Petaling branch has been around for quite some time but I didn’t realise it until then. The restaurant is packed with customers during lunch time but the service is nevertheless quite fast. I ordered the Steam Kampung Chicken which is their trademark dish.
The chicken was nicely cook. Combine with the flavoursome soya sauce gravy, the meal was totally out of this world.
The rice meanwhile was prepared using chicken fat which gives a nice aromatic taste to it.
We also ordered the pork ball which didn’t disappoint us as well.
The meal costs us RM 25 which wasn’t cheap but I guess good taste do comes with a price.
