I had a chance to try out my cousin’s AT-X PRO SD 12-24mm F4 Ultra Wide Angle lens (that’s a mouthful). Coincidentally, we were at Fullhouse Lifestyle Store and Cafe at that time so it was a good time for me to test the lens. Using a UWA lens is like seeing the world from a bigger perspective. Everything look wider which gives more flexibility in composing a shot in a tight area. Here is a sample picture that I took today.

Disaster struck me a few days back when my six months old laptop hard disk crashed unexpectedly. All my precious photos and important documents were unrecoverable no matter what I did to revive it.
Thankfully, MDR Recovery Solution came to my rescue. Located in Kepong just opposite of Jusco, this centre specialises in data recovery service. My hard disk (Seagate Momentus 250GB 5400 RPM) was sent it on Friday and was promptly recovered yesterday.
While the price is not exactly cheap, I came to know that some other data recovery centre can charge up to an astronomical price of RM 4,000 per hard disk. So comparatively speaking, I guess the amount that I paid for was relatively cheap.
Mr. Yew, who is one of the business co-owner was very friendly indeed. He even copied all my recovered data into DVDs for backup purpose. If anyone of you faces data loss crisis, make sure you drop by MDR before it is too late.
