Fusion Haven @ Kota Damansara

When my colleague wanted to try out the food at Fusion Haven, I knew I had to bring my camera along. Apart from the great food, the restaurant provided a nice opportunity for me to test out my new lens.

Good news is that their set menu is still ongoing which means cheaper food for us all.

I took the Portugese Chicken Rice Pop (RM 7.90) which comes with Ice Lemon Tea. The chicken is nicely fried and tasty.

We also ordered the Unagi Rice Noodle Roll (RM 11.90) for everyone to share.

Here is a picture of the Unagi Omelette (RM 14.90) which I had blogged about previously. It is still one of my favourite by far.

And lastly, this is the Mushroom Sauce with Chicken Meat (RM 8.90) which is the new inclusion for their set lunch menu.

While looking at my picture folder, I found some photos of the food I ate at Fusion Haven a few weeks back. Since I have blogged about this place numerous times, there is really no need to write any introduction about the restaurant.

I enjoyed eating their set lunch which comes with a drink (ice lemon tea) and main course and dessert. The ice lemon tea is a good way to quench the thirst on a hot afternoon.

We took the crispy dragon pearl for starters since everyone was feeling rather hungry.

My colleague ordered the Portuguese Chicken Pop Rice (RM 7.90) which comes with some sweet sour chicken and mushroom sauce on top of the rice.

And here are some pictures of Kimuchi Omelette Spaghetti (RM 8.90) that I had. It has some kimchi mixed with spaghetti noodle and a omelette on top. There was also some sweet soya sauce on the bottom to give a bit of salty taste.

Fusion Haven… again

1 02 2010

I had my lunch at Fusion Haven last week with my colleagues. Fusion Haven, as the name implies, offers a unique blend of fusion cooking style. Think of it as a mix of East meets West and you will get the pretty good idea of what it is like.

We ordered the Unagi Rice Noodle Ball as appetizer.

The outer skin is deep fried with shredded carrots, rice noodle and seaweed rolled up inside.

Very tasty indeed. The soya sauce on the bottom combine with mayo cream on top provide a blend of salty and sour taste.

This is also one of my favourite dish – Unagi Omelette.

As you can see, there is a nice omelette on top of the rice with chunks of Unagi and Kimchi. Highly recommended.

I took the set lunch (Macau Chicken Pop Rice) which is a new addition to their menu. The chicken is cooked with sweet sour sauce while the rice came with mushroom sauce on top.

As simple as it sounds, the taste is spot on! This is my second time ordering this meal so you can tell how good it is.

As for dessert, this is something worth trying. The Warm Heart Chocolate consists of a muffin resting on top of a piece of ice-cream.

While the ice-cream is cold, the muffin is warm. When it is opened, the thick chocolate syrup will flow out blending with the ice cream.

Here are two pictures taken at Fusion Haven at Kota Damansara during New Year Eve. My colleagues ordered the Pan Fried Dory Tower and Mango Fusion. Too bad I had my meal at Kansai earlier on. Otherwise, I wouldn’t mind having these appetizing dishes for dinner!

I had a quick dinner at Fusion Haven last night. I have blogged about this place before so I won’t elaborate much on it.

Unfortunately, the place where I was sitting had dim lighting which makes it difficult for me to take a good shot of the food I was having. What was even more embarrassing was that my camera settings were set wrongly after my colleagues played with it earlier thus rending my picture quality slightly bad.

I tried the grilled spicy chicken chop. What makes this special was the red sauce that was pour on top of the grilled chicken.

It was slightly spicy but yet, it complemented the dish very nicely.

My colleague took the unagi omelette which happens to be my favourite one by far.
