Last two weekends, I joined a couple of photographers for a portrait shooting event. Despite the hot weather, the event turned out pretty well. Wei Ling was natural in front of the camera which makes it easy for me to shoot her. Here are some of the pictures taken that day.

During the festive holidays, I took the opportunity to drop by the new Nikon Centre at Berjaya Times Square. Apparently, the centre offers Nikonians the chance to try all their lenses for free. Yes, you read that right. Imagine walking into a Ferrari showroom and taking their cars out for a spin. That is seventh heaven! There is one catch though. You can only test out their lenses within the premises but the choices of lenses to ‘play’ around with is more than good enough for me.
Good thing the centre provided a miniature model of a traditional kampung village for customers to shoot. The model is pretty elaborate with elements of a old rustic village cleverly constructed. This is a good opportunity for anyone to have a hands on experience on the different lenses of various focal length and aperture.
Anyway, here are some of the pictures taken using my 16-85 mm F 3.5 – 5.6, 70-200mm F2.8, 85mm F2.8 and 85mm macro lens F3.5 (courtesy of Nikon Centre).
