When I first heard about a famous fried pan mee stall at Jalan Sepadu, I knew I had to give it a try. Pan mee or flat flour noodle are commonly prepared with soup or ‘kon lou’ (dry) style version. So how does fried pan mee taste like?
A small plate of fried pan mee costs RM 5.00 each while a slightly larger service costs RM 1 extra.
The fried pan mee looks a lot like hokkien mee and taste almost the same too.
The only exception is the texture of the noodle which is flatter and springy.
To be honest, I enjoyed eating it a lot. It was moist, has the right amount of dark soya sauce taste.
If you fancy pan mee with a twist in its style of cooking, then give this place a try. I was told that the stall is actually more famous for its loh mee. Well, there is always a next time….
