A few months back, when I was told that there will be a wedding shoot in early June, I was totally clueless as to who the lucky couple was. That was until I arrived at Siew Mei’s house at 6:30 a.m. yesterday and started taking pictures of her wedding preparation. It was a super fun day, especially with the presence of bridesmaids and groomsmen trying to outwit each other during the morning wedding games. But the spotlight was definitely on the lovely couple as they waltz along the entire ceremony with such natural grace. Congratulations to Shi Teng and Siew Mei. It was a privilege for me to be part of your big wedding day.

I have been a regular customer at Restoran Makanan Laut Soon Fatt for many years. Despite loving the food there, I had never thought of blogging about it until now. I guess most of the time, my family members were around so I felt rather hesitant to bring my camera along to take pictures while they are staring at the food. Lol!
Anyway, one of the reason why I enjoy eating at this place is because of its reasonable price. Unlike some Chinese restaraunts that serve mediocre food with an expensive price tag, the food at Soon Fatt are consistently tasty and more importantly, do not burn a hole in your wallet.
Take this steam ‘hong cho’ fish for instance.
For RM 26, the dish was really value for money. Not only was the fish fresh, the taste was spot on.
Just take a look at the fish texture…
The ‘Sei Tai Thin Wong’ (RM 6) which means Four Heavenly Kings (in this case, four variants of vegetables – long beans, 4-angled bean, brinjals and bitter bean) was also nice. The rich taste dried shrimp and sambal brought a smile on my face.
The sizzling plate tofu (RM 7) was another another dish which I enjoyed. If you have tasted enough Chinese food, you will know what I mean.
The place is very crowded during dinner time. However, the food usually come very quickly. Highly recommended.
