KL International Motorshow 2010 #2

10 12 2010

Some of my friends asked about the car pictures when I initially posted up the pictures I took at KLIMS 2010. Here are the pictures of those cars. I  must say, there wasn’t much interesting cars around other than a few concept hybrid cars.

While enjoying our street shooting last weekend, we came across a big piece graffiti wall near to Central Market. These were some of the impromptu shots taken for them…

It has been a while since I went for street shooting in Kuala Lumpur. I woke up early last Sunday and head straight down to Masjid Jamek station via the LRT. Here are some of the pictures taken.

Jump shots!

Here are some crazy jump shots I took for my colleagues during last weekend shooting at Kuala Lumpur. Both Dion and Evelyn were nice enough to jump a few times for me to get these pictures. Haha…

Food Republic @ Pavilion

11 12 2009

I have heard so much about Food Republic before this but never got a chance to try it until today. Apparently, Food Republic is a modern food court concept originated from Singapore. I guess we are lucky to have the similar one here as well at Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. There were many stalls available and I must say all of them look pretty appetizing.

I decided to try out Thye Hong’s famous fried prawn noodles (RM 7++) which came highly recommended by one of their staff there. The first thing I noticed was the texture of the noodles which is similar to those used in Asam Laksa. There were some gravy too which tasted quite alright. The prawns were fresh and flavoursome. After reading some Internet reviews, I just came to know that it is quite a well known in Singapore.

We also tried their Char Kuey Teow (RM 7++) . I have tasted numerous version of this famous dish and I must say this one is pretty good too. The cockles were pretty fresh and there was slight spicy taste to it.

I am also a big fan of chicken rice and when I stumbled across Sargent Singapore Chicken Rice, I knew I had to give this a try. The steam chicken was really smooth and soft. I must say that it is very well prepared and ranks among the best chicken rice I have tried so far.For RM 8, it is really worth the money.

Here are some quick snaps of the stalls…
